Addressing Bullying – DeForest Library – 8/20/19

Tuesday, August 20th – 6 pm
DeForest Public Library
203 Library Street, DeForest, WI

Bev Davis, former chaplain with Attic Angel Place in Middleton, is an anti-bullying authority and author of anti-bullying books for kids.

Bullied and marginalized throughout her young life, Bev was inspired to write her first book, Great Gray. An elephant who was born with a lopsided ear, Great Gray was made fun of in his village in India, but became the hero when he saved the village from pending disaster.

Bev speaks to grandparents, parents, and children. Her books are stories that are meant to showcase the best in all of us, no matter how different we may be.

Local School Counselor Kerry Johnson will add her perspective on the effects of bullying in our schools.
