Join us as we talk to author and Algoma resident Bev Davis! Watch the video here.
Bev will be speaking with the Madison Women’s Connection via Zoom on November 17th at 1pm.
Unreservedly recommended for family, daycare, preschool, elementary school, and community library collections, Winging It!: A Monarch Love Story is an entertaining and elegant picture book tale that reminds children that they (and their parents!) can each do their part in keeping the Monarch butterfly population alive and well in the face of climate change and habitat reduction.
Watch Bev’s interview with Tiffany Ogle on WTMJ-4 Milwaukee’s Morning Blend.
Bev also revisits with us how she came to write such wonderful and inspiring children’s books such as ‘The Great Grey’ and ‘Wing It’.
Winging It: A Monarch Love Story by Bev Davis is a beautiful story that makes young readers think about the wonders nature offers and how precious nature is.
In May, Davis and her book “Winging It” will play a part in the DeForest Library’s special two-part, virtual presentation about monarch butterflies.
The awards program “foments a strong interest in these authors and publishing houses and we expect our winners and favorites to receive a heightened level of attention.”
